NEW RELEASE!
It has been five years, three months, and six days since I last released a typeface. In that time, I finished my bachelor’s and master’s degree, and started a PhD in Cognitive Psychology. Unfortunately, that also means that the time I can spend on type design and running Bureau Roffa is limited.
I am very thankful that the great people at Bold Monday were willing to share their expert eyes, pushed me to improve Goldich beyond my own imagination, and eventually released it today! I am honored that Goldich has already been awarded a Certificate of Typographic Excellence from the Type Directors Club, but for me, the real reward will be in seeing it in use. I hope that Goldich will be a joy to work with, and I am very much looking forward to seeing your designs. Please do send me your images, questions, and thoughts!

Bold Monday regards itself as the typographical equivalent of a so called “indie” record company. It is the place where the love for beautiful typography, a do-it-yourself mentality and a keen eye for high production values meet.

Seraphs by Bernd Volmer - Future Fonts
Seraphs is the latest brainchild of Bernd Volmer. It was born out of an ambitious idea: bringing together a patchwork type family of 18 different styles (and many more possible interpolations) into one variable font “dynasty” file. The Seraphs family is available in three weights including light...
