Goodmorning! So our trip to the Voltzberg went just a little bit different than we’d thought. The hike up was great (minus my fear of hights😅), but after an 8 hour hike the motor of our boat didn’t work so we had to go back without and our boat seized because of the rapid stream. Of course our boat sank in the blink of an eye. I’m very greatful that we all got back in one piece eventually, we swam from the tree we hit to an island, walked a part through the jungle, had to go back in the water to swim to our island and walk through a part of the jungle yet again (miss scary pants here without any swimming brevets what so ever was sure she would die🥲).

But we made it back alive and the view was amazing❤️
