You can practice yoga for years and still feel uncertain when it is your turn to lead a class.
Teaching requires a different kind of preparation.
You need to know how to:
• Structure and sequence a class
• Give clear and effective instructions
• Observe students as they practice
• Make appropriate adjustments and modifications
• Respond when a class does not go exactly as planned
This is why practical teaching is a central part of Arhanta Yoga’s 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in India.
During the 21-day residential program in Khajuraho, you learn 170+ classical Hatha Yoga asanas and complete 60 hours of hands-on teaching practice within a 1:8 teacher–student ratio.
Your practical teaching is supported by study of yoga philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, alignment, adjustments, and teaching methodology—so you understand not only what to teach, but the principles behind your teaching choices.
The program is Yoga Alliance Accredited, guided by Dr. Ram Jain, Ph.D., and rooted in a 5th-generation yoga teaching tradition.
The classroom is where knowledge becomes teaching skill.
