During the Watersley Open House, visitors had the opportunity to discover the different sports represented within our Watersley R+D teams and learn more about what it takes to develop talent at the highest level.

From seeing athletes in action to experiencing the sports themselves, the day offered a unique look into the journey of growth, dedication and development that takes place at Watersley every day.

A special thank you to the Watersley R+D Offroad Team and Tom Greten of the Watersley R+D Paracycling Team for sharing their sport, knowledge and passion with our visitors.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲.

For the coming seasons, a limited number of places are available within the Watersley R+D Cycling Team Women Development Program.

We work with ambitious U23 riders who are determined to maximise their potential in a professional, performance-driven environment. Through expert coaching, a strong race programme and a long-term development approach, we help talented athletes take the next step in their cycling careers.

We’re not simply looking for results. We’re looking for riders with ambition, commitment and the mindset to keep improving every day.

𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲

June is looking a little lighter on the team calendar, but don't let that fool you! It’s National Championship month. Most of our riders have headed back to their home soil to battle it out for those iconic jerseys.

We’ll be dropping the full Nationals schedule soon, but in the meantime, we still have some incredible team racing on the calendar!

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 & 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Our campus provides the professional facilities and coaching needed to build a resilient body. Strength and conditioning is fully integrated into our development program and given by

The sessions are designed not just to build power, but to prioritize injury prevention and mobility. This ensures our riders remain flexible, balanced, and physically prepared for the demands of the season!

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝟭𝟳 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀

At Watersley, we bring together talented riders from all over the world and give them a unique opportunity to develop in a professional cycling environment.

This month we have a new addition to our infrastructure, seven promising U17 riders are living and training on our campus, fully immersed in our junior development program. From structured training to race experience, they get a taste of what it means to grow as an athlete at the highest level.

And they’ve already made a strong start, with 4 podium finishes in their first two races last weekend! Later this month, they’ll take on one of the most iconic races in cycling: the Ronde van Vlaanderen 🇧🇪

We can’t wait to see how they continue to grow during their time at Watersley.

Our schedule is packed with the women U17 program added to the mix this month. We have had a great season so far and looking forward to some iconic races in May and see the potential riders for next season in action!
