When the herring arrives in the north of Norway, the killer whales and other whales will be there too. We will also follow the herring to observe these mammals. In the end of November we sail out to search the whales. Temperatures are low, the sea can be rough and windy, the views are magnificent and the days are short. If you like a challenging expedition, we recommend this one. And northern lights maybe visible in the evenings....! Always nice to see cetaceans (whales and dolphins) unexpectedly. This picture was taken in the far north some days ago. In August we organize a superb whale searching expedition in the Vesteralen in Norway. We also plan to do some kayaking to remote islands where we can observe puffins and sea eagles. Lot of fun and awesome beaches with camp fires is also included! Check the details. http://www.dutchexplorers.com/expedition_details_whale_searching_expedition_vesteralen.htm
