Nouveau Riche wheat beer with rosemary by Brouwerij De Dochter van de Korenaar ( brouweji name after Charles V preference for the daughter of the ear of corn over the blood of the grape.)

The rosemary complements the hops adding herbal and savory notes reminiscent of a gruit.

Blind Tasting and Blending Brouwerij Boon Gueze Mono Blends Discovery Box.
Subtle differences in appearance and taste between the"mono blend". They all had that funky earthy smell that I was expecting though poured a darker semi-cloudy amber color. Head retention was minimal with slight carbonation. VAT108 had a slightly bit more carbonation than the other.

Upon checking my tasting notes with online notes they aligned with a majority of others, especially for VAT 108 and VAT110. I jumped to conclusions on "C" as VATt 92 despite indicating on my notes that "B" seems to be VAT 92. I think the Lambics had something to do with that.

Blending VAT108 ("A") with the other reduced the Volatile Acidity of VAT 108, though I enjoyed VAT 108 acidity without additional blending. VAT 92 ("B") and VAT 91 ("C") blended together nicely the smokey grapefruit wheat biscuit flavors of VAT 92 ("B") with the Oaky grassy mouthful of VAT 91's. VAT110 added a dried dark fruit feel to the other mono-blends.

I would drink any of these blends on their own or blended, with other Guezes again. It was a very educational day and I look forward to carnitas tacos in a few hours.
