A HAPPINESS POST
Last Friday eleven of us discovered Woerden while rediscovering ourselves. We Connected. Laughed. Reflected. Slowed Down. Savoured... Smiled
The tour included a bit of the city, a bit of history, a bit of culture, a bit of parks, a bit of nature, a bit of food , a bit of shops and a lot of HAPPINESS :)

🫶🏼"Does everyone smile here?" Watching people get coffee at the OVErHOOP that fairtrade, underprivileged with skills and employment. Koffiebranderij OverHoop
🫶🏼"I want to find a house in Woerden, I want to move here" While walking the banks of the Old Rhine River, near the old water tower.
🫶🏼"This place is so pretty, like from a fairytale" At the Parkcafe Bredius while we paused for a wholesome lunch from local produce.
🫶🏼"Happiness is different for everyone, but kindness is universal" After a little game called 2 Happy Truths, 1 Happy Lie while enjoying croissants from Stevig Brood Stadsbakkerij Stevig Brood
🫶🏼"These activities are making me notice the positive things around me "
🫶🏼"OH! I checked out this place, they have the cutest decor from scrap metal, you should add it to the places to visit", While on a treasure hunt checking out over 💝10 artisanal stores across the old city.
🫶🏼"The honesty people have here is amazing, there is no one manning the shop!!! This is not possible in Rotterdam" After visiting the farmer shop Oogst.
🫶🏼"A roman ship?? Here??" How old is this city?" At the church square.
And of course, there are so many memories I will cherish forever. Thanking you all once again.
