Tsuru-do Kan is een Utrechtse dojo voor traditioneel budo, de ‘weg van de krijgskunst‘. Onze disciplines zijn Wado Ryu Karate Do en Ryu Kyu Kobujitsu (Okinawa Kobudo). Er wordt onderwezen in zowel de traditionele stijlen als de meer toegepaste vormen van zelfverdediging. Daarnaast is er aandacht voor de opbouw van lichamelijke conditie, lenigheid en spierkracht. Last weekend, we joined a Wadokai seminar led by Takuya Furuhashi sensei in Bastogne. We learnt a lot and had a great time! Many thanks to Furuhashi sensei and our friends at JKF Wadokai Belgium for organizing this event!

Last but not least, Kevin Chao sensei was in Japan for the Wadokai International Cup! He joined the seminar in Tokyo and trained with Shinohara sensei (8th Dan) and Takemoto sensei (7th Dan) in Hiroshima. We're looking forward to having him back at our dojo this week! 👊🥋🙏

Our socials were quiet this summer, but we've been training hard! On 28th June, Kevin Chao sensei led a Wadokai Summer Course in Leusden which was attended by karateka from the Netherlands and Belgium. After the training, we enjoyed a boat ride and dinner in Utrecht. Check out the video! 👊🥋🙏
