Dutch Series of Beer Pong

Nico war auch hier im Venlo am Dutch Series of Beer Pong!!!

Wer hüpft mit kurzer Hose und Skisocken durch die Halle? Specki! Wer bucht den gesamten Ruhrpott in holländische Bungalows ein? Ebenfalls Specki. Und wer mutiert regelmäßig zu einem der unangenehmsten Gegenspieler der Szene. Jep. Ebenfalls unser lieber Nico Beckmann.

Beer Pong in Europa, ohne, dass Specki irgendwie seine Finger im Spiel hat ist kaum noch denkbar. Weit entfernt von einem wirklich festen Partner schwebt er mit guter Laune durch die großen Turniere Europas, wo er in der Vergangenheit nicht selten knapp am ganz großen Preis vorbei schrammte.

Die Online-Variante sagte ihm zu Beginn nicht zu. Doch natürlich änderte er auch das im Handumdrehen und spielte gegen Ende der Saison famos auf. Fortan geht er als Nr. 3 für NRW an den Start. Das kann für seine Gegner unschön werden, für den neutralen Beobachter aber auf jeden Fall ein Leckerbissen. Freut euch auf den besten Speckmann aller Zeiten!

After the Dutch Series of Beer Pong now also the ASOBP - Austrian Series of B I E R P O N G officially announced to not happen in April, both where planned for the same weekend. Whilst the Dutch are assessing whether to wait for 2021 or pong in fall/winter 2020 the Austrians announced a possible new date: 25/26 September! An possibly expacted date for the Swiss Series Of Beer Pong, but they confirmed to not be on same dates with ASOBP.
German Series of Beer Pong X stays scheduled for 25 July, we keep our fingers crossed!

As we know there are no more Nationals planned yet. If, please let us know, so we can follow all developments.

We hope you all and we will have a pongastic sumer and fall of 2020 with many major Tournaments!

Aalto Beer Pong, Beer Pong Turku, Belgisch Kampioenschap Beerpong

Dear Beer Pong Friends,

Due to the recent progressions in the world's war against Covid-19, we don't see any possible scenario in which we can organize our main event at our regular dates.
So now we got two options, both of which we're gonna discuss among the Crew of the DSOBP:

1) Cancel edition 2020 and work hard to make the DSOBP X in 2021 the best and biggest event we've done so far.
or
2) Postpone our DSOBP IX edition to the fall or winter of 2020.

When the 2nd option would be the chosen one, we'll be sending both main event winners, of the DSOBP IX and the DSOBP X, to the WSOBP of 2021.

As days, weeks or even months go by, we will learn more about the actions against Covid-19 and when "normal life" would be possible again. As soon as we got an idea of what our following steps might look like we will let you know.

For now, all the best to all of you, especially to the ones who are working so hard in health care and other vital services to keep us safe and healthy.

It's almost time for the DSOBP IX.

This is the weekend planning:

Friday April 24th: start: 19:00
Single Event

Entrence fee: €10,- p.p.
Prizes:
1st: 50% of the entrence fee
2nd: 15%
3rd: 15%
Also there will be some nice small extra prizes.
Structure:
Every player will play 6 random poule games, after this a top 16 advances to the knock out stage.
NOTE: there will be no beer on the tables, but the loser of the game will be obliged to buy a drink for (him- or herself and) the winner.

Saturday April 25th: start 19:00

Super Qualifying Saturday
Entrence fee: €55,- per team
Prizes: top +/- 25% advances to Final Sunday
Structure: every team plays 4 games against randomly selected opponents.
NOTE: The entrence fee will incl. the gamebeers, 5 per team per game.

Final Sunday 26th
Entrence fee: 0,- Qualifiers only
Start 16:00
Prizes:
1st: trip to the WSOBP in Las Vegas, incl hotel and flight*
2nd: to be announced
