Guillotine defenses and counters in a seminar by at last weekend! Lots of nice additions and new techniques were shown and it was good to catch up after 3 years. Have a nice trip around Europe Hyago!🤙🏻🥋

In a collaboration with Dojolink we hosted a seminar and open mat for their growing community last weekend.
Ofcourse there was sparring and some fun competition going on. Gabriel represented BJJZ in a really fun and dynamic ‘Choke Only’ grappling round with high level competition Judo black belt Rens. In a friendly match the two warriors showcased their skills and grit, definitely worth watching!

After hours of hard sparring, a tough group of fighters and cramps galore, BJJZ has our first homegrown blue belt!🔵🥋
It took years of hard work, many hours on the mats and lots of tapping, but it all paid off when that belt was tied.

Big wins and lots of fun at with the crew last weekend!

🥇🥈Dinand steamrolled his way through the gi and all the way up to the finals in nogi to take home both the gold and silver respectively

🥈🥉Lorenzo gave no quarter at his first outing and managed to earn himself the second place in the gi and the third in the nogi division

No medals for Naïm and Lauri last weekend but some great performances nonetheless! With Naïm giving the crowd a show with his dynamic style and Lauri taking home some limbs while trying out new techniques.

With a strong support crew to help with the warm-ups and coaching, the team stood strong and is already back to preparing for the next competition🥋

Team BJJZ had the privilege of attending seminars led by multiple-time world champion , and we're grateful for the experience. His insights were truly next level.
