" Bergsjøstølen fjellstue " is next to Hardangervidda. The Lodge is right on the spot. Perfect for families and friends to take a break inside, or enjoy the outdoor spa and indoor sauna.
The food served is a mix of norwegian and mediterranean style, with local products as possible: delicious !
The staff is really sympathic and helpfull. The rooms are recently refreshed, so it makes it even cosier than ever :)

Bergsjøstølen fjellstue offers one of the best snowkite spot of the world : stable wind, massive snow, flat area, mountains surrounding, and kite during the night !!!!!
Cabrinha kites gear are possible to rent here with www.urge.no, and kitecourses as well (in norwegian/ english/ french) with www.kiteskolen.no
For the days without wind, there's the unique cable park system, straight out the door, perfect for night sessions ! What's so unique is the several obstacles, to enjoy by kiting or at the cable.
The lodge is on the spot, so you can kite in, and kite out. No need to drive to the plateau everyday, as you are on it.
Many cross country ski slopes around the hotel, even one with a hut serving coffee and waffles !!!!
Downhill ski slopes at 5min and 20 driving.
Endless possibilities for ski/snow touring around the lodge.
