START OF SEMESTER INFORMATION

First practice of the semester will be this Thursday, 15.08!

PRACTICE TIMES:
- Monday 20.30 - 22.00
- Thursday 17.30 - 19.00
Where: FANTOFTHALLEN

MEMBERSHIP:
You can attend up to four practices before needing to register as a member. Membership-fee is 250kr for students, and 350kr for non-students.

LICENSE:
To play tournaments in Norway, you will need a license. This can be purchased for 250kr and last for a season (autumn - spring).

Hei, er du ute etter å prøve en ny sport i studietida? Eller har du allerede god kjennskap til Ultimate Frisbee? Uansett hvor nivået ligger så er du hjertelig velkommen til å bli med oss på trening. Vi er et blandet lag der alle kjønn er velkommen uansett ferdighetsnivå, der det sosiale ved trening står høgt. Er du usikker på noe er det bare til å sende oss en melding. Kom og prøv da vel!

Hey, are you looking to try a new sport while studying? Or do you already have a lot of knowledge about Ultimate Frisbee? No matter your skill level you’re very welcome to join us for practice. We are a mixed team where all genders are welcome no matter how good you are. We see the social part of exercise as very important. If you have anymore questions dont hesitate to ask us. Come try if you dear!

Last weekend we went to to participate in BSI’s very first international tournament. 🤩 And what a great weekend it was!! 🥏☀️ It was so nice to gather old and new players to make one joint team, and also see old team members again. We finished at 8th place after two very intense universe point games on Sunday. Unfortunately we had some injuries, but either way we kept our spirits up!

Thanks for a great weekend! Let’s do it again next year 🥏🇳🇱

Da fullførte vi årets første turneringen på vår egen hjemmebane i nydelige «rainy» Bergen. Det var veldig artig å organisere BRainy og få muligheten til å starte året med en sprang! Tusen takk for alle lagene som kom hit og skapte en super helg med energi og glede🤩

Å spille med dere gir oss stor motivasjon og hjelper oss til å bli et bedre lag, og det setter vi alltid pris på❤️ Med det, kom lag pepper på 6. plass og lag salt på 9. plass!!

PRACTICE TIMES:

Mondays: 20.30-22.00
Thursday: 19.00-20.30

MEMBERSHIP:
You can attend up-to four practices before needing to register as a member. Membership for students is 200 kr per semester, and for non-students it's 300 kr.
Register and payment can be made to bank account number: 3624.21.09176 (OBS! please write your name in the payment description). If you don’t have a Norwegian bank and find it difficult to pay. For example; there's a big transaction fee, just contact Marcus, Magnus, Kristin or Baoson and you can pay in cash or else wise!

LICENCE:
To play at tournaments or national championship you'll need a licence. This fee is 250 kr and lasts a season (so if you've already paid it last semester you don't need to do it again). Before tournaments we'll check who needs a licence, but if you know you don't have it and are going to a tournament please talk to Magnus Severinsen.

🥏 BSI FRISBEE DISCS:
We sell discs for 150kr a piece! There are two different designs. Payment can also be made to the same bank account: 3624.21.09176, or alternatively in cash!
Please mark the transaction with name and the amount of purchased discs 🥏

BSI Ultimate CommonSpace: Join this group for weekly updates on everything frisbee across BSI and some dank’ frisbee memes! 📢

BSI Ultimate 2023: This group is for paying members. We'll update this with members as they roll in! The group used for organizing when we go to tournaments and such!

Bergen Ultimate Community: General group for all frisbee people in Bergen. Pick up games in Bergen will be posted in this group, so keep posted!

Ultimate Norway: Will post information about when and where tournaments are! They also run the group Norwegian Ultimate Community! A group for all Ultimate players in Norway, so definitely check that out!

🏆 TOURNAMENTS:
There will be two series-official tournaments this semester! One in Bergen hosted by BSI Ultimate & Stormkast Ultimate - Bergen Frisbeeklubb, and one in Tromsø! There will also be a national championship in Oslo later this semester. More info will be posted in the BSI Ultimate 2023-group.

US3: BRainyDisk 2023, 11-12 February, Bergen
US4: 69 discs north (US 4), 18-19 March, Tromsø
NM 2023: Stovner Frisbeeklubb, 22-23 April, Oslo
Looming unofficial Student NM 2023, sometime end of first quarter of this year!

We have now finished this year’s last tournament, the Decembercup, and it has left us with many good memories. We have gone through many intense, fun games with smiles and cheering😁 BSI 1 got 3rd place in the tournament and 1st place on spirit award, and BSI 2 got 10th place in the tournament and 2nd on spirit award🥳❤️ this shows how much we learn from playing with other teams at different levels and we got to know each other better as a team. Thank you so much for arranging the event and looking forward to play with you again
