Long way from sandy beaches and palm trees, but snowy mountains, partly sunny sky and a cabin perched on a cliff all to ourselves is not to shabby either👌😍

Yes, it is true, Wapiti is SOLD!
Our plan this year was always written in the sand at low tide. Expecting to change, and full of opportunities to make new plans on a clean sheet. Corona made a dent in our circumnavigation plan and got us more committed to life back home.. so this is where we ended up. We chose to stay longer in the South Pacific Islands and got to experience the wonderful Melanesian culture in these tropical paradises. The alternative was to rush West and spend most of our time simply looking forward and planning for a lot of ocean passages. We chose culture and living in the moment

Wapiti is now in the loving hands of a New Zealand family who we are certain will have as many memorable moments on the boat as we have had! Wapiti will stay where she seems to always want to be - New Zealand 🇳🇿

For now, we will slowly make our way home by the more conventional way🛫 via Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. And will continue to share moments from our trip on this profile - there are thousands of pictures and stories to be shared! Thanks for following our trip halfway around the world🥰🌎 We will be back with a new boat in a few years time👌

As Norwegians we are spoilt by marvellous waterfalls, but were still blown away by the beautiful Mele Cascades 🤩 Vanuatu continue to surprise us!
Swimming in refreshing fresh water was a pleasant change from the 30 degree ocean as well 😅💦 and the best company of Desiré and Kjell from 2K⛵
