The Cottontails is a dance club in Bergen which deals with American Jazzdances of the first half of 1900, such as Lindy Hop, Balboa and Charleston.

The Cottontails er en danseklubb i Bergen som driver med amerikanske jazzdanser fra første halvdel av 1900-tallet, som Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag og Autentisk jazz. Our main focus is on the social dance, and above all on having fun when we dance! Social dance every Thursday at 20:30 - 22:00 @ Danckert Krohn Center

Ready to learn some Lindy Hop?

Following their recent guest Charleston taster class at Kulturnatt, we are excited to announce registration is open for our courses starting on Thursday 22.10 with the amazing Gunnhild & Ruben.

6 sessions (1h per class)

Improver - 19:00 (Basic knowledge required, please contact us if you have questions regarding levels)
Beginner - 20:00 (No partner or experience needed!)

Full dates: 22.10, 29.10, 05.11, 26.11, 03.12 & 17.12

Karoline Nylander (aka DJ Snowflake) is passionate about bringing groovy tunes to the dance floor. From an early age she started to sneak in to jazz jams and concerts in her home town. She has been in love with jazz and blues as long as she can remember, and enjoys never-ending nights on the social dance floor watching people get lost in the music together. Karoline is a fresh DJ, but she has spent a whole life DJing in her own home. Karoline values the continuum of jazz culture and music, and that is why every once in a while she will bring you some modern and genre-crossing music that might challenge your brain and feet, but you can bet there’s always a reason behind the choice of tunes! Karoline invites you to stay open and enjoy getting lost in the music.
