Finally back on track! 🔥 We were worried a few drops might spoil the run, but thankfully the weather held — and we ran 4.205 seconds at 284.90 mph! 🏁

Another run completed here at Santa Pod today. 🏁

Unfortunately, we ran into an issue with the safety system during the run, which means we haven’t completed the licensing process just yet.

Not the result we were hoping for, but that’s racing. The team will go through everything carefully, get the car ready, and we’ll keep pushing. 🔧🔥

Licensing run #4 is done here at Santa Pod. 🏁

This one didn’t quite go to plan. We had a lot of vibration during the run, which meant the throttle had to be lifted, so we didn’t quite reach the target we were aiming for.

Now it’s time for a quick turnaround in the pit, and the team is already getting the car ready for another go. 🔧🔥

We’re looking forward to getting back out there and trying again! 💪

After finally chasing away the last of the “gremlins”, we’ve now had a successful warm-up — and the whole team is incredibly happy with what we saw. 💪

We’ll be heading out on track very soon, and we’re ready to see what the car can do! 🚀🏁

🔥 Albert Carter joins Nitro Vikings for the Euro Finals and 2027!

We’re excited to announce that Albert Carter of Carter Motorsport will be behind the wheel of our Top Fuel dragster at the upcoming Euro Finals at Santa Pod — and for the 2027 season! 🏁

Albert has grown up in motorsport, and after beginning his Top Fuel licensing with us, we’re proud to be part of this next step in his racing career. There’s plenty of work ahead, and we’re looking forward to taking it on together!

We also want to give a huge thank you to Øyvor for taking on the role of test driver and helping us get to this point. We truly appreciate her commitment and everything she has contributed behind the wheel. Øyvor will continue to be an important part of the Nitro Vikings team, and we’re proud to have her with us as we move forward. 💪

Thank you to our crew, partners and everyone cheering us on. We can’t wait to share what’s ahead with you.

🔥 Albert Carter’s first licensing pass with Nitro Vikings!

Yesterday, Albert Carter made his first licensing pass in our Top Fuel dragster at Santa Pod Raceway – and what a debut!

When the throttle hung slightly open after the burnout, Albert stayed calm while the crew sorted it out. After the final checks, he staged, launched well and stayed on the throttle to around 300 feet before lifting and coasting through to a 6.26-second run. A great first step towards his licence! 💪

A huge thank you to the entire crew, who have worked tirelessly since Thursday morning, and to everyone cheering Albert and Nitro Vikings on. Your support means so much! ❤️
