In 1906, Martin Madshus started manufacturing Nordic skis in a barn located in Vardal, Norway. In 1928 Madshus won its first Olympic medal, to date, no other ski manufacture has won medals in as many different Olympic cities. 2006 marked Madshus' 100th anniversary, making it the Worlds Oldest Cross Country Ski Company.

Team Pulse SkateX – we invited a group of skiers to Skarverennet to be the first to try a completely new way of skating.
The concept is simple: nine participants of varying skill levels, equipped with the all-new Pulse SkateX boots, taking on a demanding race with the focus on enjoying every part of the journey.
Turning 120 is no everyday milestone, and to mark the occasion, we sat down with renowned ski historian Thor Gotaas. Amid all his knowledge and insights, one thing is certain—it has been quite a journey as a proud Norwegian manufacturer and the world’s oldest continuously operating ski factory.

Endre Strømsheim has done it — completing the Gunnerside retreat.
Over the course of just more than two weeks, he covered roughly 600 km, crossing seven valleys in truly demanding snow conditions, following in his grandfather’s footsteps.
We’re cheering you on and wish you all the best for the upcoming winter season!
Endre completed the entire expedition using the Panorama T55 Transition.
