A huge shout out to the KRK family for being on dugnad at Kristiansand International School today helping to move furniture - a lot was done in a short space of time!!!! Great team work, some good heavy lifting, and good KRK spirit!

We've been a little quiet over Summer, enjoying the Norwegian sunshine. It was great to be back and to have old and new faces down at training. A good start to the Autumn half of the season.

Being part of a rugby club is about so much more than turning up to training or playing on match day. It's about being part of a team that supports one another, gives back to the community, and helps make the club stronger for everyone.

Our wonderful team has stepped up this week (for the third year in a row) to volunteer at Ravnedalen Live working security. Their willingness to give up an evening (or two) to help out not only supports a fantastic local event but also helps raise valuable funds that go straight back into the club. Every hour volunteered helps us to continue building an inclusive club that everyone can be proud of.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part. Your willingness to get involved beyond the rugby pitch are a great example of what KRK is all about. We couldn't do what we do without volunteers like you.

What a scorching night for training!! Great work from all who came, an ice-cream is definitely required after that 🍦

What started out as planning for just a few numbers for training turned into a solid number with a lot of new faces and some excellent skills across the board!!

A big thanks to Andrew de Bruin and Bernadette Butterfield for running warm up drills. Loving seeing more and more members running parts of the session.

I left with a smile on my face!!

A massive thank you to Horten RugbyKlubb for hosting this year's NM 7's with the Norges Rugbyforbund. They managed to bring the weather and the perfect day for a rugby competition.

And, what a competition between Horten, , Sagene IF Rugby, Blindern Rugbyklubb and .

This year's winners were:
1st: NTNUi
2nd: Sagene
3rd: Blindern

Our own Beat Friedrich, Chris Butterfield and joined forces with Sandefjord. Putting in a solid effort against some very strong teams.

The women also put out teams for Horten and Sagene, with Sagene taking the win - but hard fought matches.

There were lots of new faces today, which is great to see and we hope to see these continue playing for many years.

Now time for a rest over the Summer.

A solid week of training as we prepare for the Horten NM 7's this weekend. Beat Friedrich took the team on Monday running them through passing and team play, and today we ran through some 7s drills, and fundamental skills. Great work by all on both days.

Monday training is still on over Summer, but that's a wrap for Wednesday training until August, a time to rest after the game this weekend and enjoy the Norwegian Summer.
