2015! And we are finally back!

we hope you had a good start and are enjoying january wherever you are at the moment! Before we are telling the big news that 2015 brought with it, we´d like to take a look back at 2014, especially on the variety of our volunteers.

Spain, Australia, Germany, New York, Denkmark, England...!

What a diversity and a lot of fun! And it looks like 2015 will be even more international!

What is an essential part of christmas? A nativity scene, of course! Besides the main characters such as Jesus and Maria, you also must not forget the animals! So with our youngest kids, we focused on making sheep, cows and donkeys this week!

Que es una cosa importante de navidad? El pesebre, claro! Además de los caracteres importantes, como Jesús y María, no puedes olvidar los animales. Por eso hemos hecho ovejas, vacas y burros esta semana con los más pequeñitos de nuestra escuela.

The rantings So the football tournament is over. Winners suitably happy, losers suitably miserable. Time to turn attention back to playing with fire!I have a rough idea of how to build the airframe, but reckon it is pretty critical to get the motor right.

We wish "Happy Holidays" to all the students in Bolivia!

Still, we have a long way to go to get all of the kids in Bolivia and in the world to experience the feeling of the "holidays"... which means they have to have the chance to go to school instead of working!

Because in the end, education is one of the most important things in this world and it is the right of every child!!!

We discovered our green thumb in Takoloma!

In cooperation with "Sustainable Bolivia" and "fundación gaia pacha", we have been working on the garden area in front of our school to make it a greener and nicer place for all of us!

Highlight: In the end, every kid got to plant a tree, that´s now "theirs" and needs to be taken care of.

Did you ever plant a tree? If not, you should go out there and do it ! (remember to first check with the owners of the garden if it doesn´t belong to you :) )

It´s a lot of fun and besides that it helps the environment! :)
