I have been sharing the practice of yoga since 2008, teaching at several of Oslo’s leading studios. My foundation is rooted in the fluid strength of dance and the disciplined traditions of Ashtanga and Jivamukti Yoga. I first discovered yoga while studying at the Norwegian University College of Dance (2003–2006), and today I am honored to be an 800-hour Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher.
My deep dive into the Jivamukti Yoga method began in New York City in 2010. This journey led me to teacher training at Blue Spirit in Costa Rica 2012 and later back to NYC for a rigorous 800-hour apprenticeship at the Jivamukti Yoga School in 2014, and then to receive the advanced certification in 2015. To maintain the integrity of my teaching, I consistently return to and make it a priority to learn from and study with my mentors and teachers. I feel immensely grateful and privileged to have great teachers in my life, who’ve kept the practice and teachings of yoga interesting, ever-evolving, and alive to me over the years.
In my classes, I advocate a holistic approach to yoga: A physical, challenging practice infused with chanting, music, and deep philosophical reflection. My focus is never on «perfection» but on consciousness, presence, and kindness. Using the mat as a training ground to face life’s challenges with grace and resilience.
If we’ve crossed paths or you’ve practiced with me during the last two decades, leave a heart, smile or a memory 😊💚
