Carbon monoxide causes 400 to 500* unintentional, non-fire deaths a year in the US. The majority of homes have a carbon monoxide detector.
☢️ Radon kills around 21,000* people a year, yet most people have never tested their home.
Both are invisible, but you can protect your family by monitoring for both.
🏡 Every home should measure radon.

What we imagine the solar eclipse would have looked like, if it hadn’t been so cloudy in Norway last night ☁️😭
"I love that it shows long-term trends so I can actually see what's normal for our house, giving me total peace of mind for my family's health."
Did you know radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer? It's completely invisible and odorless, but monitoring with Corentium Home 2 makes it simple to learn whether your home has radon.

Some household mysteries are a bit easier to solve than others. 👀 It's hard to prove if your house is haunted, but you can at least find out if it has radon 😇
What's the weirdest thing you've heard in your house at 2am?
Did you know radon can fluctuate day by day, and even hour by hour? That’s why monitoring continuously for as long as possible is the best way to understand your home’s true average radon exposure. This long-term average can then help you decide whether you need to mitigate (if the average is at or above 4 pCi/L or 150 Bq/m3). Corentium Home 2 and Airthings’ radon insights guide you through the process, explaining what your radon readings mean and whether you need to take action.

🫁 Lung cancer is not just a smokers' disease. Nearly 60% of people diagnosed today have never smoked, and radon is a leading cause among them, responsible for around 21,000 US deaths a year.
Early detection can make a huge different.
💛 If caught early, the 5-year survival rate for lung cancer increases from 27% to 64%.*
This World Lung Cancer Day, take control of the risk you can measure: test your home for radon.

Wildfire smoke is again affecting millions of people across Canada and the US, with smoke now reaching as far south as Florida.
Fire itself isn't the only risk. If you're able to stay in your home, it's important to be aware of the impacts the smoke can have on your short and long term health.
🔥 Smoke doesn't stop at the forest line. It seeps into homes, sometimes for weeks after a fire has died down, even thousands of miles from the source.
🌫️ What's actually in it?
Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and harmful gases that get inside and linger, with effects both short and long term.
🛑 Common mistakes:
Cracking windows to "air out" the smoke, skipping HVAC filter changes, using a non-HEPA air purifier, or relying on a basic face mask outdoors.
🛡️ What actually helps:
Close windows and vents, run a HEPA air purifier, switch HVAC to recirculate, change filters regularly, and monitor indoor PM levels directly instead of guessing.
If you do have to go outside, an N95 or P100 (not a surgical or cloth mask) is what actually filters smoke particles. Remember to follow local guidance and advice, including resources like fire.airnow.gov

Struggling to sleep in the heat? 🥵
When windows stay shut and fans run all night, your bedroom air can change too. CO2 builds up, particulate matter PM2.5) can linger and VOCs (airborne chemicals) can go unnoticed. Knowing what’s actually in the air you breathe for 8 hours a night is the first step to fixing it.
