Sudden illness, accidents or disease can happen to anyone; young, old, men, women etc, but it is still more likely to happen to people who are generally unhealthy. Keeping your health and fitness levels in check is not only beneficial for staving off illness, it is also the morally right thing to do for you, your family and loved ones.

Allrighty! Back in to it after 2.5 weeks of holidays. And what better way to start everything up again than to do a fun little obstacle course. This time it was the 9km, 30+ obstacle course : The Trollhunter's test.
A fun and generally easy (despite a sore lower back) run in my hometown of Sandnes, Norway.
The 3 biggest take aways from this run was:
1. I still absolutely hate running.
2. My lower back does not cope too well with uphills.
3. Norwegians are probably the fittest people on the planet. Pensioners and middle-schoolers alike kept flying past me, light on their feet, with seemingly no problem. Luckily I still kick ass in the actual obstacles though =P
The next course will probably be the X-run in Stavanger in September 🏃♂️💪

Why do we work out? Why do you not work out?
A lot of people don't work out because they don't care about, or like, the whole negative vanity culture that's associated with the fitness industry.
I've said it a million times and I'll say it again; We don't work out to look good (that's just an awesome side effect), we work out because it's the right thing to do for your body, your overall physical AND mental health, and your longevity and quality of life!

Seeing 's progression over the last year has been nothing short of inspirational.
It's been an honor working with someone who is genuinely interested and dedicated in improving themselves. An amzing decrease in bodyfat % and an even more impressive increase in muscle % , combined with improved cardiovascular capacity truly makes this guy someone to look up to.
It is no longer motivation that drives him. It's dedication!

Working in this industry I constantly see people (and Fitness Professionals) mess up what could be a kick ass and beneficial cardio session.
