🚨Double Backland Mont Blanc Fastest Known Time!

and clocked 4h41min 24sec from Chamonix to the top of Europe and back down.

After racing many team events together tracks parted a bit. Mathéo followed own projects like his L’intégrale des Alpes’ and lately the FKT on the Haute Route – ironically taking this one away just from Samuel. Samuel continued in racing mode and finished this season with a victory at the Patrouille des Glaciers.

Attempting a speed record like this as a team is tricky. The effort is short but very technical, and both athletes need to manage their pace carefully. Their strategy was clear. Samuel pushed the speed early and built a small gap at high altitude, but Mathéo stayed close behind and never out of sight. Higher up, where the air is thinner, Mathéo closed the gap, and he was especially strong on the descent back down.

In the end, they crossed the finish together, proving that teamwork still mattered most.

Chapeau Sam and Mathéo!
