Et godt oppmøte på høstens første onsdag etter oppsettet av Salarøy. Nesten et administrativt problem; det må finnes oppgaver til alle.
Vi gikk gjennom lista over alle sjekkpunkt og hva som må gjøres før neste års seilersesong, målet er jo tur til Melbu og Forbundet Kysten samling i juli 2027.
Vi fikk stablet om på materialene bak Stornaustet og lagt bølgeblikkplater over. Stengt igjen under Stornaustetdørene, kveilet opp en del tau og fått laget merkeskilt for tauene til riggen.
Motoren er konservert for vinteren, kjørt gjennom ferskvann og frostvæske på sjøvannssida av kjølesystemet.
Innholdet i kartkista; navigasjonshjelpemidler, førstehjelpssaker, verktøy, signalraketter får en gjennomgang og avmerket hva som må komplementeres.
Tid til kaffe og prat ble det også
There was a great turnout for the first Wednesday of the autumn season following the hauling up of Salarøy. It almost posed an administrative challenge—finding tasks for everyone to do. We went through the checklist of all the checkpoints and the work required before next year’s sailing season; the goal is a trip to Melbu and the Forbundet Kysten (Coastal Federation) gathering in July 2027. We rearranged the materials behind the large boathouse and covered them with corrugated iron sheets. We also sealed off the space beneath the boathouse doors, coiled up various ropes, and made identification tags for the rigging lines. The engine has been winterized, with fresh water and antifreeze run through the seawater side of the cooling system. We also reviewed the contents of the chart chest—including navigation aids, first aid supplies, tools, and signal flares—and noted what needs to be restocked. There was time for coffee and conversation, too.
