Hey everyone!

One of the members of our sailing club (TSI Seiling) was part of a fantastic expedition. He built a raft to sail from Norway to Greenland. The documentary about his expedition will be screened next Tuesday 7 pm at Løkta (former lighthouse at Vervet). Everyone is more than welcome to watch this capturing documentary!

Synopsis:
"The Leeway-25 expedition is a bold attempt to sail from Norway to Greenland on a pre-Columbian raft, reviving a forgotten sailing technique. Over three nmonths, five strangers set out to build something bigger thana raft, a journey of friendship, trust and hope. Driven by a shared desire for freedom and adventure, the wind and sea always have the last word. As challenges mount, a question arises: could this all be a waste of time? Through fleeting encounters and shared moments, the film becomes a space to reflect on time, uncertainty, and how human connections expose what success, failure, and meaning truly are." Great sailing today that ended with a spontaneous regatta between Monkey and Kosita ☺ (Almost crashed into eachother a few times) (Monkey had to be rowed in into the harbour)

Rosa, one of our new captains, took Lita out for a weekend trip north of Tromsdalen. We had strong winds and big waves at first, but the forecast improved and the crew kept a great mood throughout 🌊✨
With our furry friend on board 🐶, some fishing the next day 🎣, and a very chill sail back to Tromsø, it turned into the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Thanks Rosa for leading such a fun trip! 💙
