Great opening night on the NFC Beats! Robin Svendsen got the first salmon of 97cm (pictured) at our new Beat L2. Shortly later Kim Jørgensen got the 2nd fish of 102cm on the very same Beat. We are exited what the day will bring. So good to be back and swinging flies!

What a day to welcome our guests for the Gaula opening at midnight! The river looks stunning, fresh fish have been seen on our Melhus Beat moving upstreams, several other Beats report salmon been showing. The sun is shining - what could you ask for more on this day. We are ready, let’s go salmon season 2026!

Tomorrow our guests arrive. The river is in really good shape as you can see on the picture of our BM Beat in Melhus and the drone shot from our new fantastic Beats L2, L3 and L4 near Lundamo. We can’t wait to get started!

A glimpse of sun in the Gaula valley this morning in between very rainy and cold days during this week. The river looks great and very likely will be in perfect conditions for the season opening on 1st of June. Stay tuned for some updates on our new Beats in the Lundamo area. Exiting times ahead!

Big bright Gaula salmon! We are looking very much forward to be back and can’t wait to kick off the salmon season 2026 on the 1st of June!

Just 3 weeks left and we will be chasing Gaula salmon again! We are almost fully booked in June and July, but a very few options are still available. Just reach out if you have not booked your fishing yet. See you all soon!

Only 1 month and a few days and our Gaula season starts again. We are super exited and can’t wait to get back to our favorite river. We have a few last rods available: weeks 23 two rods (Lodge/country house), week 24 one rod (Lodge/country house) week 25 one rod (country house). And also in August we still have a few options available. Considering the snow and possible melting water situation we expect an early start, maybe even with fishing above Gaulfossen during the first days of the season 2026. we are looking forward to see you all very soon!

A view on our Lodge Beat. This Beat you can fish any time if you are booked into our rotation fishery. Fish with us the beautiful Gaula from the middle reaches at the Lodge near the village Rognes, down to the tidal zone in Melhus. The variation is absolutely unique.
