At the sealife aquarium in Ålesund. It’s a superb aquarium but once again it has associations with salmon farms.
Salmon farms have ruined the sea in this part of Norway. They are an abbhoration.
Yet, here they again GASLIGHTING 🤮
He’s an example of the utter nonsense being peddled to the public. You should be ashamed of yourselves!
This is how they do it…attach themselves to nature and somehow suggest that salmon farming is natural and non intrusive.
Take farmed salmon 🤢

Matti Viitanen from Finland returns a 108 cm salmon estimated at 12.4 kilos. The magnificent fish was caught in super-low water (1.8 cubic meters er second at the Eggafosss). The male salmon was hooked and released on Lillestrøm this morning.
A superb achievement in such low water!
Note that this fish was originally reported as being killed and this was a simple check box error when filing the catch on the Elveguiden app.

Delighted to receive these original Gaula flies from their original creator, Jonas Lindkvist, who was visiting with the Loop party.
Jonas has been salmon fishing on Gaula for over 30 years and he tied this fly, the first to be adopted my anglers on the river as "The Gaula Fly," back in the day.
The Sunray style flies are stunning and simply scream fish!
The quality of the tying, wing shape and proportions on all of these flies is exquisite and to receive two Sunrays, two free-swinging flies tied around a cone and two dressed flies was an unexpected honour and I will fish with them, of course!💪🎣

A joy to see the second fish on successive days from Lillestrøm Rohølen was caught by my long time friend and valued ambassador for the lodge, Steve Atkins. It was a belter too, measuring 101 cm and weighing over 11 kilos...
The fish took a banana fly tied by Jesper Berg Jensen of GFF and put up a serious fight. It had clearly been in the river for a while and used some time resting to charge its batteries. However under the watchful eye of Inspector Dragvoll of the yard, our veteran finally got his fish!
The fish showed some signs of damage - a skirmish with a predator maybe? The damage is more visible on the far side of the fish and I attribute the fungal patches to this injury. However I have a lot more film and will study it closely. In the meantime, many congrats old friend - you earned that one!💪🎣
