we believe that even the simplest choices can help protect the environment. One key step is waste separation. Instead of discarding old clothes and materials, we repair and repaint them giving them fresh life and extending their use. Through this practice, we continue to support recycling and reuse efforts, building a more mindful and sustainable future.

Every year, a wonderful group from the Netherlands visits Nepal to explore and exchange culture and traditions. They love collaborating with the Shechen Eco Group on environmental awareness programs.
This year, on Friday, 11th July, they kicked off with a session on recycling and reusing, followed by a joint cleanup with Shechen Eco Group and XploreParkstad around the Monastery and Dhara Tole. Heartfelt thanks to everyone for your time and energy!

🌱 GREEN REVIVAL: BOUDHA TREE REPLANTATION DRIVE 🌳
On this World Environment Day (June 5), we came together for a meaningful cause — a tree replantation and cleanup drive.

Organized by Green and Clean Green Team Nepal, and proudly supported by Shechen Eco Group, Utpala Café, Shechen Monastery, Shambaling, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, SIT Study Abroad, Bodhin Inn, and Hotel Anuttama.

Together, we planted new life and cleaned our shared space — a small step toward a greener, cleaner future. 🌍💚
