10 Years of an Idea That Went Around the World.
Today marks 10 years since an idea first entered Mark Williams Magzy Bcah 's head while sitting on a train home from London.
What started as a simple conversation with Daniel in the USA became a global movement to raise awareness of fathers' mental health and the challenges many dads face in silence.
Over the past decade, the day has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. It has helped start important conversations, challenge stigma, influence policy, and encourage dads to seek support when they need it most.
Today, the movement is being driven forward by an incredible team in Australia, who are taking it to the next level—raising even greater awareness, helping shape policy, saving lives, and keeping families together.
It is a reminder that one idea, shared with the right people, can have an impact far beyond what you ever expect.
