**STRONG TEAMS. UNITED COMMUNITIES. ⚽🇳🇵**

Now more than ever, our young people need places to come together, feel they belong and put their energy into something meaningful.

A football field is one of those places. It brings people from different backgrounds together, turns individual effort into teamwork and gives a whole community a reason to cheer.

**Supporting local sport is an investment in our youth—and in the bonds that hold our community together.**

Yesterday, **InnerVillage Retreat Nepal and Peace for People** provided jerseys, footballs and other essential sports equipment to **New Star Football Club**, supporting their participation in the second inter-ward football tournament in Thakre Rural Municipality.

We are proud to be part of this effort. Our commitment to community means showing up for local talent, encouraging their dedication and helping create opportunities close to home.

To every player: **play with courage, respect one another and carry the spirit of unity onto the field.**

**When we stand behind our youth, we move forward together.** ❤️

The Ordinary Becomes the Memory
What do guests remember most about InnerVillage?
Often, it's not something extraordinary.
It's milking a cow.
Walking with the goats.
Learning how butter is made.
Picking vegetables.
Sharing food.
Meeting local families.
Or simply being part of the natural rhythm of another day in the village.
These aren't activities we've staged for visitors.
They're pieces of everyday life here.
And somehow, those ordinary moments often become the ones our guests remember most.
Sometimes, it is a very ordinary moment that becomes an unforgettable memory. ❤️

Meet Santosh / The Story Behind InnerVillage
Growing up in a small village in Nepal, I was surrounded by forests, waterfalls, animals, music, neighbours of all ages, and my grandparents' stories.
At the time, I didn’t think of any of it as an “experience.”
It was simply life.
Later, through travelling and community work, I began to realise that many of the ordinary things I grew up with — knowing your neighbours, eating together, children playing freely, being close to nature and learning across generations — were things many people were searching for.
So rather than creating a conventional hotel or guesthouse, I opened my family home.
My parents still live here. The farms, neighbours, animals, school, festivals and rhythms of village life were here long before InnerVillage.
Guests aren’t invited to watch an artificial version of village life.
They’re invited to become part of the life already happening here.

What does it really feel like to live at InnerVillage with your children? 🇳🇵
Maybe the best answer doesn’t come from us — but from a family who lived it. ❤️

NEPAL STILL WELCOMES YOU 🇳🇵❤️

The past days have been heartbreaking for Nepal. Some communities have experienced great loss, and our thoughts remain with every family affected by the natural disaster.

At the same time, we want to share something important:

InnerVillage is safe, and many parts of Nepal remain safe, peaceful and open to visitors.

If Nepal was already part of your travel plans, please don’t cancel simply because of the images you see in the news. Stay informed, avoid affected areas, and travel with awareness and respect.

Right now, visiting Nepal can also be a meaningful way to support recovery.

Stay with local families.
Eat and buy locally.
Choose community-based experiences.
Listen to local stories.
Learn about what happened.
Support the people whose livelihoods depend on visitors.

For families and students, this can also become real-life learning — about nature, natural disasters, resilience, community and how people come together during difficult times.

Nepal doesn’t only need sympathy. It also needs connection, confidence and responsible visitors.

If you were thinking about Nepal, we would love to welcome you.

And if you know someone planning a journey to Nepal, please share this post or tag them. ❤️🇳🇵

Travel with awareness • Connect with people • Support local

🇳🇵 Step into another world…

There are very few places left where ancient traditions are still part of everyday life.

Upper Mustang is one of them.

For centuries, this hidden Himalayan kingdom has preserved its Tibetan culture, ancient monasteries, timeless villages, and a way of life that has remained beautifully unchanged.

This October, we’ll journey beyond the famous landmarks—not as tourists, but as welcomed guests.

Together, we’ll explore sacred monasteries, meditate in ancient caves, experience authentic village life, practise yoga and mindfulness, and travel through breathtaking Himalayan landscapes that few travellers ever truly discover.

This is more than visiting Nepal.

It’s an invitation to experience its culture, its people, and perhaps even a different way of living.

🌿 15-Day Inner Journey Through Nepal
📍 Kathmandu → Upper Mustang
📅 25 October – 8 November 2026

✨ Our small group is almost complete, with only a few places remaining.

If you’ve been dreaming of experiencing Nepal beyond tourism, we’d be honoured to welcome you.

🤍 If this journey resonates with you, let’s connect. We’d be delighted to share the full itinerary and answer any questions. 🙏

❤️ A Mother’s Reflection After Nepal

Sometimes the most meaningful feedback isn’t about the accommodation, the activities, or the views.

It’s about how a child feels.

One of the mothers currently staying with us recently shared something that deeply touched my heart.

She wrote that her daughter didn’t fall in love with Nepal because of famous landmarks or exciting adventures.

She fell in love because she felt safe.

She made friends without sharing a common language.

She laughed, played, painted, climbed, shared meals, and simply became part of everyday village life.

She discovered that connection doesn’t always need words.

For this little girl, Nepal became more than a destination.

It became a place where life felt simple, peaceful, and real.

At InnerVillage, this is exactly what we hope every family experiences.

Not a holiday.

Not a packed itinerary.

But a chance to slow down.

To wake up with birds instead of alarms.

To feed goats, watch cows wander home, walk through rice fields, help prepare dinner, drink tea together, and let children simply be children.

These are the moments they remember.

These are the moments that quietly shape who they become.

Thank you, Ryoko, for trusting NEPAL WORLDSCHOOLING COMMUNITY InnerVillage Nepal with your family and for putting into words something that is so difficult to explain.

Your reflection reminds us why we continue building this little village, one family at a time. ❤️🌿🇳🇵
