Tai Tuivasa Says he is not in the UFC anymore!
In a recent comment reply on social media, Tai Tuivasa stated that he is no longer with the UFC. When asked by a fan if he was still in the promotion, Tuivasa simply replied, "Nah."
Throughout his career in the UFC, Tuivasa fought 19 times, securing 8 victories against 11 losses. Despite putting up a tough fight against Robelis Despaigne in his last outing, he has now suffered 8 consecutive losses, which likely led to the UFC not renewing his contract.

Promoting this bout as the Main Event seems to have impacted the hype for the entire card. If this matchup had been slated as the Co-Main Event instead, fans likely would have received it much better.
Between weak ticket sales and minimal buzz, this event isn't looking like a huge profit-maker for Dana White and the UFC. Moving forward, the matchmaking team definitely has a clear takeaway on what not to do when structuring a Pay-Per-View card! 🤣🤦‍♂️
