On August 16, 2024, my hometown of Thame village was devastated by a glacial lake outburst flood, a direct consequence of climate change. 🏔️💔 In an instant, homes were swept away, leaving the village submerged in mud and debris. Though we are thankful no lives were lost, the destruction is beyond comprehension.
