We are deeply shocked and saddened by the untimely passing of our dear friend, respected tourism entrepreneur, and dedicated adventure sports professional Mr. Basanta Dawadi.
His passion, energy, and commitment to promoting Nepal’s adventure tourism have inspired many and touched countless lives. Basanta was not only a hardworking professional but also a warm-hearted friend who always supported and encouraged everyone around him.
His loss is an irreplaceable tragedy for his family, friends, and the entire tourism and adventure sports community of Nepal.
At this heartbreaking moment, we extend our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may the bereaved family find strength to endure this immense loss.
You will always be remembered, dear friend.

This is a reminder to all athletes and teams that the 9th National Rafting Championship and 13th National Kayak Slalom Championship are scheduled to take place at the Trishuli River from 11th to 13th February 2025.
To participate in these prestigious events, it is mandatory to complete your team registration by the 10th of February 2025.
Registration Details:

Manjil Gurung as a trainee athlete and Bishnu Gurung as coach flew to Thailand to attend the ICF Asian Regional Canoe Slalom Training Camp and the 2024 ICF U23 /U18 Asian Canoe Slalom Championship, going to be held from February 24th 2024 to March 10th 2024 in Rayong Training Center, Thailand.

Congratulation Pramod Gurung (First), Dambar Bahadur Purbachhane (Second) and Shakti Kumar Gurung (third) for winning 12th National Kayak Slalom Championship, held from 10-13 February 2024 in Kaligandaki River. On this occasion, we would like to congratulate Paddle Nepal Team A for winning 8th National Rafting Championship.
