This is a place I have visited often, which makes it even more heartbreaking to witness it being washed away by such an unimaginable disaster. Seeing and hearing about the lives affected, the families and loved ones going through the hardest moments while holding onto hope that those missing will return safely, is truly devastating.

Let us keep them and their families in our prayers and hope for the safe return of everyone still missing.

With hearts full of sorrow, we mourn the tragic loss of Nirmal Purja, Pur Bahadur Gurung, Kili Pemba Sherpa, Nima Sherpa, Nawang Thindu Sherpa, and Gyalu Sherpa, along with all fellow climbers who lost their lives on Broad Peak in July 2026.

The mountains unite people from every nation through courage, perseverance, and a shared passion for exploration. Today, the entire mountaineering community mourns the loss of remarkable individuals whose strength, humility, and commitment to the mountains inspired so many.

On behalf of everyone at our company, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, expedition teams, and loved ones of those we have lost. Their contributions to mountaineering and their enduring spirit will never be forgotten.

May they rest in eternal peace, and may the mountains forever bear witness to their extraordinary legacy.
