विश्वभरका ह्वीलचेयर प्रयोगकर्ताहरूको शक्ति, सहनशीलता र उपलब्धिहरूलाई सम्मान गर्दै १८औँ अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय ह्वीलचेयर दिवस २०२६ को अवसरमा हामीसँग उत्सवमा सहभागी हुनुहोस्!
समावेशिता, पहुँचयोग्यता र सबैका लागि समान अवसरको प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने अभियानको हिस्सा बन्नुहोस्। सचेतना फैलाऔँ, अनुभवहरू साझा गरौँ, र स्वतन्त्रता तथा सशक्तीकरणको उत्सव मनाऔँ।

नेपाल स्पाइनल कर्ड इन्जरी खेलकुद संघको आयोजना र गोकर्णेश्वर नगरपालिकाको सहयोगमा वित्तीय व्यवस्थापन तथा सुशासन सम्बन्धी दुई दिने तालिम वर्तमान कार्य समितिका पदाधिकारी तथा सदस्यज्यूहरुको सहभागितामा संस्थाको कार्यालयमै सम्पन्न भएको छ।

नेपाल स्पाइनल कर्ड इन्जरी खेलकुद संघको आयोजनामा र गोकर्णेश्वर नगरपालिका वार्ड नम्बर ५ र वडा नम्बर ९ को संयुक्त सहयोगमा मेरुदण्ड पक्षघात भएका व्यक्तिहरूका लागि छाला तथा दिसा–पिसाब व्यवस्थापन सम्बन्धी तालिम कार्यक्रममा गोकर्णेश्वर नगरपालिका वडा नं. ५ का वडा अध्यक्ष श्री नारायण बहादुर सुवेदी ज्यूको प्रमुख अतिथ्यता र गोकर्णेश्वर नगरपालिका वडा नं. ९ का वडा अध्यक्ष श्री राजिब थापा ज्यूको विशिष्ठ अतिथ्यतामा ४० भन्दा बढि सहभागी हरुको उत्साहजनक तथा सकृय सहभागीतामा छिमेकी पार्टी प्यलेस जोरपाटीमा सम्पन्न भयो।
यस प्रकारका तालिमहरूले मेरुदण्ड पक्षघात भएका व्यक्तिहरूको दैनिक जीवनलाई सहज, सुरक्षित र सम्मानजनक बनाउन महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्‍याउने विश्वास लिएका छौं।

NSCISA has been working in the field of disability and social development for past 16 years. The
organization was founded by persons with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) with the objective of promoting the
rights, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities. In its early phase, NSCISA primarily
focused on advocating for the rights of persons with SCI and promoting sports as a means of
rehabilitation and social inclusion.
NSCISA pioneered wheelchair sports in Nepal and has since organized numerous national-level
tournaments in wheelchair basketball, wheelchair table tennis, chess, and swimming for persons with
disabilities. Through these initiatives, the organization has significantly contributed to promoting sports,
leadership, and confidence among persons with disabilities.
In addition to sports, NSCISA is currently actively engaged in advocacy, awareness raising, capacity
development, and livelihood promotion for persons with disabilities. Through its integrated approach, the
organization aims to enhance social inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunities for persons with
disabilities across Nepal.
NSCISA announces vacancies for the post of program associate. Interested and qualified candidates
having Nepalese citizenship are invited to apply for following posts:

Major responsibilities to be fulfilled:
 Develop, implement, and facilitate the effective ex*****on of NSCISA’s project implementation
plans, and submit reports to the Executive Committee and partner organizations.
 Coordinate with the person designated by the Executive Committee to communicate and manage
the organization’s daily office operations and project implementation activities.
 Carry out financial, technical, and administrative tasks related to project implementation as well
as daily office operations.
 Organize trainings, orientations, meetings and advocacy programs in coordination with the
Executive Committee.
 Perform other responsibilities in coordination with the Executive Committee in accordance with
NSCISA’s constitution, policies, regulations, and strategic plan.
 Manage the organization’s financial operations, including bookkeeping, petty cash management,
bank deposits, preparation of annual budgets and plans, financial reporting, and overall financial
management of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
 Minimum running Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or relevant discipline. (Bachelor’s
degree’s degree is an advantage).
 At least 1 years of experience in the development sector (experience in the disability sector is
highly preferred).
 Understanding of project implementation and financial management.
 Good communication and coordination skills.

 Familiarity with working with community-based organizations, preferably with marginalized or
disability-focused groups.
 Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned place.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
 Determination or knowledge in the field of disability rights, inclusion, and advocacy.

Candidates selected for interview, written or both assessments will be provided information via email or
telephone. Special consideration will be given to women, janajatis and dalits in the selection process.
The application of the concerned person shall lead to automatic disqualified in case of any undue pressure
or telephone calls in favor of the candidate. “Priority will be given to candidates who hold a two-wheeler
driving license.”
