Everest has a romantic and tragic mountaineering history with the Mallory and Irvine story, the ‘Into This Air’ tragedy, Messner’s epic solo and supplementary oxygen free ascent and the ascent of the mighty South West Face being just a few of the legends surrounding this majestic mountain. This variation of the trek to Everest Base Camp is among the most dramatic and picturesque in the Himalaya.

The scenery is varied and spectacular, the lodgings and tracks are of a very high standard, and the interaction with the local Sherpa people is truly memorable. Crossing three passes all above 5000m and three peaks again all above 5000m makes this a true expedition in amongst the tallest mountains on the planet. Plenty of acclimatisation time is built into this trek to ensure you get the real best from your Nepalese experience
