Machhindra Football Club played their 11th match of the ANFA National League – 2082 in difficult weather conditions with heavy rain and a thunderstorm. The match was delayed and played on a very slippery ground, and unfortunately we suffered an unwanted 1–2 defeat against Tribhuvan Army Club.

Our regular center back Alijon Alijonov missed the match due to suspension after receiving three yellow cards.

After 11 matches, we now have 8 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses, but we still remain at the top of the table.

The first half ended 1–1, but we conceded in the second half. Jonathan once again found the net, taking his tournament tally to 9 goals.

It was the first match of the league played in heavy rain, making conditions very challenging for both teams. Despite the disappointing result, the team will regroup and come back stronger.

Next Match: vs APF Football Club
Date: 19th March

We will bounce back stronger and return to winning ways.

In the 7th game of the ANFA National League - 2082 Machhindra Football Club suffered their first and unwanted defeat against Church Boys United. The result was not what we had hoped for, despite a spirited and determined performance from the team.

Machhindra FC created several clear scoring chances throughout the match but could not capitalize on them. Jonathan came agonizingly close to scoring when his powerful header struck the top of the crossbar.

It was simply not our day. However, this setback will only motivate us to work harder and return stronger after the election break.

We rise, we fight, we move forward together.
