निर्वाचित ९ सदस्यीय कार्यसमितिमा अध्यक्ष रामचन्द्र थापामगर, उपाध्यक्ष अनिलप्रसाद दाहाल, सचिवमा रामकृष्ण प्रजापति, कोषाध्यक्षमा नयनबहादुर भण्डारी तथा सदस्यहरूमा अनुशा थापामगर, संगीता राना, कृष्णबहादुर कुमाल, हरि खतिवडा र अमित मानन्धर सर्वसम्मत चयन भएका छन्।

निर्वाचित कार्यसमितीको पहिलो वैठकले उपाध्यक्षमा दिनकलाल श्रेष्ठ, सदस्यहरुमा विभिषा श्रेष्ठ, सचिन रावत लाई मनोतित गरेको छ।

Boxing Wins Unanimous Decision To Return To Olympics Ahead Of LA 2028 BOXING has been officially reinstated to the Olympic programme for Los Angeles 2028 after the member states of the IOC voted unanimously in favour of its inclusion.

IOC grants provisional recognition to World Boxing The Executive Board (EB) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) provisionally recognised World Boxing (WB) as the International Federation (IF) within the Olympic Movement governing the sport of boxing at world level, during a remote meeting held today.

World Boxing Gains Historic IOC Recognition: A Victory for the Sport’s Olympic Future. Asian Boxing proudly welcomes the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) official recognition of World Boxing, marking a pivotal moment for the sport’s future within the Olympic movement.

This landmark decision ensures that boxing remains an integral part of the Olympic Games under a transparent, athlete-focused, and well-governed system. The recognition of World Boxing by the IOC solidifies a secure and fair competitive pathway for athletes worldwide as they prepare for Los Angeles 2028 and beyond.

Pichai Chunhavajira, President of Asian Boxing, hailed this achievement as a triumph for the sport:

"The IOC’s recognition of World Boxing is a defining moment that safeguards boxing’s Olympic future. This decision reaffirms the sport’s commitment to integrity, governance, and fair competition, ensuring that athletes have a rightful place on the world’s biggest sporting stage. Asian Boxing stands fully behind World Boxing and remains dedicated to working together to strengthen and develop the sport across our continent and globally."

This recognition is the result of tireless efforts by national federations, athletes, coaches, and officials who have fought to preserve boxing’s Olympic status.
