The Himalayan Whitewater Challenge continues…

The Himalayan White Water Challenge is an international event held annually in the Himalayan rivers of Nepal. This year the event will be held at Bhote kosi River, from 28th Nov,to 30th,2024
The competition is organized by Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA) ,& promoted by Nepal Tourism Board - Trade
Himalayan White Water Challenge has been attracting some of the best kayakers in the world to participate in this event. Participants during the three – day event will be competing in the following disciplines :
The Major events are:
# Kayak Extreme slalom
# Down River Race
# Kayak Free style
# Boater Cross.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Late. 𝐒𝐡𝐲𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐲, a renowned hotelier (Founder of Shangri-La Kathmandu) and a pioneering leader in Nepal's tourism and hospitality sector.
His remarkable contributions to various tourism associations, including HAN, PATA, IHRA, NICA, NTB, and others, as well as his unwavering dedication and lifetime involvement to the growth and development of the tourism and hospitality sector,are unparalleled !
Nara Nepal and the entire tourism fraternity of Nepal mourn the loss of a well-known pioneer and a great contributor to Nepal's tourism and hospitality industry.

May the Almighty embrace his departed soul and grant him eternal peace, and may his family be blessed with the strength to bear this irreparable loss!
Nepal has lost a legendary figure in tourism, and he will be dearly missed by all.🙏
