Nepal Police is acting like they have done a great job. Congratulations, but they do not understand the potential of drone technology in the place like Nepal where the landscape is highly diverse. Nepal Police cannot charge this guy for flying a drone in the premises of Sanepa based International Club BECAUSE the CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF NEPAL have FLIGHT OPERATIONS DIRECTIVES NO. 07, MAY 2015 which states "4.8 Remotely controlled aerial toys (drone) weighing less than 2 kgs. do not require permission from CAAN while operating within the premises of private property of the operator below 400 ft AGL."
Nepal police does not understands this OR they are simply being ignorant. All this buzz in the media and convicting this guy like a criminal is BU****IT. Shame on you Nepal Police.
