Yes, finally Ada made it to Everest summit this morning at 6am and officially registered her name as first HongKong lady.
Congratulations to Ada.

Ada is a Hong Kong high-school teacher and a serious amateur athlete. She has finished the Hong Kong 100km Ultra Trail running race 6 times since 2008. To encourage her students on aiming high in life, 5 years ago she set herself the personal goal of climbing Mt. Everest. Since then she has taken strict physical and technical training on ice and rock climbing. She has summit peaks of 5000m to 7000m. It is her first 8000m peak and this year she expects to become the first Hong Kong woman to summit Mt. Everest.

Ms Ada was the part of First Chinese Women team to Everest in 2014 and 2015. Whole Everest Expedition from South Side were ended after the death of 16 Nepalese Climbing Sherpa's. She returned back again in 2016 following her aim of reaching the summit. But the avalanche after the earthquake ended her dream once again. She was badly injured and returned home with broken ribs and swollen face.
2017 will be her year for Everest. She is returning back this year again forgetting those pain. We are proud to have such a courageous woman in the team. Best of Luck Ada. If you understand Chinese then read it otherwise please enjoy the video.
