My hometown is Ghunsa, Taplejung district in the eastern Himalayas of Nepal. I am the first woman to climb Mt. Everest twice in the same climbing season, on May 12 returning to base-camp and then resummiting on May 19, earning my place in the Guinness book of world records in 2013. I have summited the following peaks:
