Wildcat Fishing Charters

What a fantastic season for Ahipara Gamefish Club this year!! We have finished our charters for the season & will be back later on in the year!! See you all then. 🐟

Fantastic fishing the last few days - Saw a heap of marlin & a few strikes but failed to get any on board 🤷‍♂️🛥all in a days fishing...

Earlier this year we had the privilege to sponsor 1 of our talented local rugby girls to represent Aotearoa in The Amsterdam International Quadrangular U.18 Girls 7's Tournament.

"We cannot thank you enough Wildcat Fishing charters for sponsoring Payge's rugby jersey as she represented the NZ Dutch Barberians U18s 7s team on their Europe trip during the last school holidays. The NZ Dutch Barberians U18s 7s girls were invited to play in Amsterdam against local teams including two of the top Dutch teams at a two day tournament to which our kiwi girls cleaned up the tournament! We are currently commercial fishing at the moment and plan to be done by mid- late November, we will then start our charters .
We supply all fishing gear, bait and expertise with Skippers Andrew, Ginty and our deckie Logan. If you are jigging- please bring own jigs. We can take 5 anglers - the day rate for Wildcat1 is $1500. You need to bring your own lunch and drinks and your own favourite rod if you have one. Try catching a Hapuka, Snapper or Kingfish, or try Gamefishing once the water really starts warming up! OK its been awhile since our last post! 🤣 These guys aren't the greatest with taking photo's or sitting down & posting updates - so we've sacked the PR person 😝 he actually forgot we had a FB page LOL. I now have the luxury of updating our page - lets see if I can do any better!!
