Akatrax Akaroa Farm Bike Tracks

It’s been a great week at Akatrax getting stuff done.
Brailsfords were on site spraying the 2024 plantings and preparing for the next planting season.
Nath has sprayed a lot of hard to get to trails. Nigel busy on Blue Steel with the trimmer.

The jump line, Mid-life Crisis and Party line are the best they have ever been.

The Party Line was just had a freshen up, finally running hard and fast again. Choices for big air or just enjoy the flow, is all good.

Look out for the sneaky side trail, Kick On’s. It’s one of my favorites.

Introducing Nath’s Bridge, it’s taken awhile but it’s worth it. Now the climb to the top is without a fence to lift over. Just some fencing to tidy up and maybe some signage.

Holiday jobs at Akatrax.

We’ve compacted some gravel on the trail leading to Blue Steel and Mid-life Crisis. No sure how effective it will be but it’s done now.

Did I mention the cows are very annoying and then crap all over the place. 💩

So It’s summer in Akaroa, but unfortunately we’ve had a heap of rain. Please don’t ride the trails today as this will not be good for the trail surface, and also not fun for you.

I met this young fella giving it a crack in his adaptive rig. Looked like he was having some fun on the berms.
