💔 It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of North Harbour Softball Association’s Life Members, Bob Kara, who passed away in Brisbane, Australia.

Bob was a much-loved and highly respected member of our softball community. Over many years, he made an incredible contribution to North Harbour Softball as a dedicated coach with Roosters Softball Club and as a mentor to countless North Harbour representative teams.

Bob’s passion for the game, his commitment to developing players, and the friendships he built throughout the softball community have left a lasting legacy. He will be remembered with great respect and gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

On behalf of everyone at North Harbour Softball Association, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Colleen, the Kara whānau, and all of Bob’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you, Bob, for everything you gave to our sport and our community.

Rest in peace. Your legacy will forever be a part of North Harbour Softball. 🥎🖤

The response to our inaugural Fast60 competition has been nothing short of incredible. Thanks to the fantastic number of registrations, we're excited to be exploring the addition of a fourth team!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our final North Harbour Softball Battery Clinic on Sunday!

What an incredible success the programme has been, with players showing outstanding enthusiasm, commitment, and a real desire to improve their skills behind the plate and in the circle. It has been fantastic to see so many young athletes developing their game while building confidence, making new friends, and having fun.

A massive thank you to all of our coaches and volunteers who generously gave their time and shared their knowledge throughout the programme. Your passion and dedication have made a lasting impact on our players.

To all the players and families who supported the clinics—thank you! We hope you enjoyed every session and are excited to take what you’ve learned into the upcoming season.
