Now that we’ve had a few days to soak up all those post-race good vibes, we’re excited to start sharing some of the fantastic photos taken by our amazing marshals and volunteers out on course! 📸

First up are our trail runners—we’ll be making our way through all the mountain biking photos next. 🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️

We also want to say another huge thank you to everyone who entered and came along on the day. Your support, enthusiasm and willingness to give Linger & Die a go meant so much to both of us.

One of the best parts of being head course Marshal….getting to spend the day riding Ewan Allan Honda Alexandra brand new 2027 bikes.

Snow has passed, trails are already drying out and Saturday albeit a few minor passing showers in the forecast is looking good. Temps are looking to be absolutely perfect at 18-20deg.

Online entry closes 8pm tonight.

We will be taking some day entries but at increased price so be quick.

Real Estate and running -

When we first approached Rebecca and Stacy about the idea of having a running race at Linger and Die they jump at it and back the plan. With Rebecca having completed multiple running events and marathons the idea of having an epic trail in our back yard was a perfect fit. Both Rebecca and Stacy born in Alexandra and combined both over a decade in the property game understand the importance of growth in our community. I asked them, what’s the biggest attraction to draw people to Alexandra - “ We think it’s definitely the lifestyle. We’re so lucky with what we have right on our doorstep — amazing trails, biking, running, horse riding, lakes and mountains. It’s pretty hard to beat “

20 years of experience repairing and fine tuning bike suspension not just in Alexandra but with clients globally, shock craft punches well above there weight for a small local business. Starting as a hobby back in 2006 then business in 2007 Dougal and Ellen Hiscock believed that Alexandra and its special terrain was the perfect location to test the limits.

I asked Dougal and Ellen - You have been long time supporters of linger and die, Why? “ Shockcraft is always looking for well run events to support, especially local to Alex. While Enduro is our biggest rider segment the community behind xc events just can’t be beaten.

When you first meet Dougal and Ellen you’ll notice their passion for bikes and Alexandra. They are highly involved in the community and support the growth of riding and eventing for future generations to come.
