Trans NZ is in Alexandra on Wednesday 25th feb 2026 for the last time, I have 7 spots for locals that would like to race on the day.

Just been doing some pracy laps on my newish secret weapon of a enduro bike for this weekends b.effect brewing company Linger and Die Enduro the tracks are running all time, So who’s up for it you might even catch me on the beast of a enduro machine 😂 you wish, hurry up entries close tomorrow. We hope you’re as excited about the race as we are, the trails are riding fast. Entries are still trickling in so be sure to give your mates a jab in the ribs and encourage them to get their one in.
Online entries close on Wednesday 17th. On the day entries will be available for an additional $20, and no free burger will be provided.
We’ve got some key information about the day.
Remember full face helmets and knee pads are compulsory. We recommend wearing gloves and make sure you have something warm and wind resistant too (it is spring!).
Maps will be released on the Thursday, with the course marked ready for practice on Friday 19th.
Race day - Saturday 20th September
Registration , briefing and prizegiving will be based at Ida Bar and Grill, 26 Centennial Avenue, Alexandra. The coffee machine will be fired up in the morning and kitchen open in afternoon.
Registration opens 8.30am , closes 9.45am
Rider Briefing 9.55am
First wave (Junior M&F, M2 M&F, M3 M&F, Ebike M&F) start 10am
Second wave (Linger and Live all riders, Senior M&F, M1 M&F) start 10.05am
Linger and Die riders need to be on stage 6 by 2.30pm
Linger and Live riders need to be on stage 4 by 2pm
Once back at Ida Bar and Grill, return your rider ship and receive your time AND the voucher for your burger.
