And that’s a wrap! ✅
Another great season, done and dusted. And what a cracker evening to finish with ☀️ Well done to all the kids, especially those who received an award / trophy, and a massive thank you to all the helpers throughout the season. We literally couldn’t do it without you.
We look forward to seeing you all again next season. 🤗

What a cracker evening for our second and final night of Club Champs ☀️ An awesome effort from everyone across all ages and all events. Thank you once again to everyone who stepped up to help - we couldn’t do it without you!
Please note that next week there will be NO athletics (Otago Anniversary) and the following Monday (30th March - last week of term 1) will be our final night for the season, finishing with a fun, casual evening including a BBQ and prizegiving. We hope to see you all there! 🏆

What a great night for our first night of Club Champs. It was so good to see all of the kids across all age groups giving it their best. Same deal next week - different events 😊

Just a reminder that it is Club Champs tonight so we hope to see as many athletes there as possible!
As always, we will need extra parent help with timing, measuring and recording... So please put your hand up to help when you can - you can still watch your child at each event but if you could help on the station they are competing at that would be super helpful. 👍🏽

Another great training night tonight.. again, huge thanks to all the parents who help out - even if it is keeping some of the kids in line , it all helps!! 😉
The next 2 weeks (9th/16th March) are competition nights so we will be recording results from all events which go towards awards at the end of the season, so it would be great to see as many members as possible!
23rd March is Otago Anniversary so there will be NO athletics that week, followed by our last session of the season on Monday 30th - a fun night with BBQ and prizegiving! Pop it in the calendar 📆

🥶 It was a wee bit fresh tonight, with fewer athletes than usual, but still great to see everyone who turned up getting stuck in and giving it a good go! As usual, a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped out, including the little helpers!! 👏🏽 We’ll be back again next week - same time, same place (5pm at Molyneux Park). New members always welcome 🤗

It was a hot start back on Monday night. Our warm up was led by one of club coaches - Bones Hamilton. Great to see so many whānau returning and new faces. Thanks especially to all our parent helpers on the night - we do welcome all parents to participate where needed.

Shout out to the team from Athletics Alexandra that volunteered at the Supersmash Cricket games over summer. Your help was really appreciated and included two high school students who train with Bones - Alice Bell & Avie Morgan. Together we raised funds for Athletics Alexandra, Dunstan High Athletics as well as Molyneux Cricket Club. (Cricket provided volunteers too).
