Hi Everyone,
Don't forget that the Club will be closed on Sunday as we travel down to the final of the Interclub Series at Lakeview.
Good luck to all our competitors!
Pine Ridge Archers
Field Archery Club Pine Ridge Archery Club is a field archery club, specializing in marked and unmarked field archery. Families form the backbone of this club.
Our move to Ararimu has given us an excellent opportunity to establish new courses over the last few years and provide a great outdoor family sporting experience. Currently we have two 28 bale target field course and a 20 round course utilizing 3D animals which winds its way around farmland, including ponds bush and paddocks. All are welcome and the club is open all year round on Sunday mornings.
Just a friendly reminder that the club will be closed tomorrow for the Interclub held at Franklin
Hi Everyone,
The weather is settling and all the hard work has been done at Pine Ridge for this weekend's Interclub competition.
Expect two fresh courses, nothing too hard, some very cool shots and only one hill to walk up on each side! A hearty lunch of venison and beef burgers, sausages and Mystery Cake will be served, plus fun times for all.
We have around 50 entered so far, but unfortunately fewer than half have paid online as required. This makes our job in planning the catering, organising the shooting groups, writing up the duplicate score cards and the hundred other things that need doing very very difficult. Punters paying on the day is a bit of a nightmare and increases each club's admin burden massively.
So please commit to the weekend, acknowledge the hard work that goes into each event and pay online before Thursday night. Thank you for your assistance with this. See you on Sunday!
Many thanks,
Craig Burnet

Hey Everyone!
Don't forget the Archery Wild Trail 2024 is on tomorrow at Pine Ridge!
Just reminder to bring your cash – Pine Ridge does not have Eftpos facilities at the club (intermittent internet) so CASH ONLY.
We have a delicious menu for you tomorrow
-venison burgers
-beef burgers
-pulled pork & slaw
-sausages in bread
-loads of burger fixings and array of sauces
-chocolate cake
-chocolate bars
Huge variety of soft drinks and water & after-match drinks.
We have ordered fine weather so see you all in the morning.
Some of the shots will be tough, very tough, so bring plenty of arrows. The good news is there is no scoring, bragging rights only. That’s right, none of the arrows are scored so if you want to shoot a little closer to the target you can.
No scoring but there are over $5000 worth of prizes to be won by just being there.
The Archery Wild Trail will be a great event for hunters to give their gear a good test and kick off some practice over summer before heading out in the roar. For archers, the event will be something very different to what you're used to

Hello Fellow Archers, Just 10 days to go until the Archery Wild kicks off...... and this is an event like no other!
It’s a unique archery format designed to entertain the adventurous and not so adventurous archers. There is a single 35-target course that weaves its way through the 400 acres of the Pine Ridge Archery Club and passes the clubhouse twice where food and drinks will be available all day.
Equipment rules for the Wild are simple: no broadheads and no crossbows. Everything else is in. The target distances will not be marked but bring your rangefinders, rangefinding sights and binos. Despite the lack of scoring there will be an abundance of spot prizes to be won at the end of the day by just being there. It’s as simple as that!
Some of the shots will be tough, very tough, so bring plenty of arrows. The good news is though, there is no scoring. That’s right, none of the arrows are scored so if you want to laser the target or move a little closer you can.
After the Wild there will be some challenge shoots at the club house for prizes:
100 Yard Shot – hit the kill zone and go into the draw.
The Broadhead Challenge – Each round the safe zone gets smaller and smaller until it is down to the closest broadhead wins. Must be fixed blades, min size 1” diameter
Steel Boar – Each round the kill zone get smaller, last archer standing wins
The Archery Wild Trail will be a great event for hunters to give their gear a good test and kick off some practice over summer before heading out in the Roar. For club archers, the event will be something very different to what you are used to.
Entries are piling in and we would like to have things finalised by mid-next week. There's a lot of admin that needs to be done ahead of Sunday, plus getting the famous Pine Ridge catering just right! So please get your entries in now, and paying online will save you $15 compared with paying on the day!
On submitting your application please ensure you complete your payment in full to ANZ account 01 0354 0078235 30.
Payments must include your name as reference when completing bank transfers.
Finish the year with a bang, Go Wild!
See you there,
Cheers, Pine Ridge Archers
