All courses are located at Temple Basin in Arthurs Pass New Zealand. Volunteer coordinated, proceeds go into operations & improvement.

Hearing the buzz about ski touring this winter but not sure where to start? 🏔️🏂⛷️
We have two spaces available on our Intro to Ski touring course September 9-10th - the perfect opportunity to begin exploring the backcountry on skis or a spliboard. Content includes equipment, route planning, skinning technique and basic avalanche awareness.

Come dig a pit with us! Two spots have opened up on an avalanche awareness course with NZSSI this weekend.
The course follows the curriculum and is your first step on a formal avalanche education journey. As well as gaining knowledge to keep yourself and your mates safe in the back country this winter, you'll also receive an Avalanche Skills Course 1 certificate of completion.

NZSSI courses are a gateway for many to discovering the magic of Temple Basin - world class skiing accessed from our mountain lodge.
