💫 Columbus Coffee Ashburton Volunteer of the Week

Our next Volunteer of the Week thanks to Nigel and the team at Columbus, is ... Amy Wederell! 👏

Amy is an example of a classic netball volunteer, in that she wears a few hats! She was nominated for being such a fantastic club member for Ashburton Celtic Netball Club, for which she is the club treasurer and the manager of the B team. But, she's also the coach of a young Ashburton Borough School team! Her nominator said her dedication and selflessness when it comes to netball is incredible - so well done, and thank you for all you do, Amy👏 Next time you're in, there'll be a prize waiting for you at the netball desk 👏

Our premier teams took to the court last night wearing black armbands to acknowledge the sad passing of Hank Murney, a great Celtic man.
Hank was our netball clubs first sponsor, sponsoring all nine of our teams when we were known as RX Plastic’s Celtic!
Hank was far more than a sponsor. He was a loyal supporter who understood the true value of sport and the importance it plays within our community. Through his support, he helped fostered a strong community spirit embracing the social side at Keenan’s Road and the many lifelong friendships that grew from it.

Our deepest sympathies go to Kate, Jayne, Tara and Willie and all of their families.

Rest in peace Hank and thank you for everything you gave to Celtic xx
