Dolden Club Person of the Year –Rebecca Hurley

Becs joined the committee a few years ago to run our Racketball competition, which has been a great success year in and year out. Her enthusiasm and organisation have helped bring new players into the club and get more people involved.

More recently, Becs has taken on the mammoth task of working through the changes required with our new constitution, IRD, bank account and Xero. It has been a huge amount of work, and Becs has taken it all on with no complaints!

Becs, you are a true club person. You are always willing to help out in any way possible, and your efforts continue to bring new members and new energy to our club.

We are incredibly thankful to have you as part of our club.

Congratulations, Becs!

🏆 Celtic Squash Club Champs 2026 🏆

After three weeks of hard-fought battles, our 2026 Club Champs have come to an end, with the finals played yesterday!

We’ve seen some fantastic squash throughout the competition, including plenty of quality five-set matches. A real highlight was the great father-v-son battle in the finals, which drew a big crowd and created an awesome atmosphere. 👏

It’s been fantastic to see so many families enjoying and supporting the club, with kids making memories, and plenty of new “squash” friends along the way. ❤️

It was also great to see some of our life members at the finals yesterday — thank you for coming along, catching up and continuing to support our club.

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors. Your support helps make our club as strong as it is, and it was fantastic to see many of you there supporting the finals as well. 🙌

🏆 2026 Club Champions
Women’s A: Meagan Bell
Men’s A: Lachie Jemmett
Women’s B: Hailey Donaldson
Men’s B: Alex Forbes
Men’s C: Kyle Hurren
Men’s D: W***y Hintz

Congratulations to all our champions, finalists and everyone who took part! 🎉

Finally, a massive thank you to all our players, supporters, committee members, sponsors and everyone who continues to put their time and energy into making Celtic Squash Club such a great place to be.
